I tried to comment on your month-old post about your practicum bibliography, but couldn't — guess you close comments after a post has been up for a while. I had mentioned an article, but couldn't remember who wrote it. Here it is:
Donald Murray. "The Listening Eye: Reflections on the Writing Conference." Originally in College English 41 (1979), pp. 13-18, reprinted in Corbett, Meyers, and Tate's The Writing Teacher's Sourcebook, 4th ed., 66-71.
This essay really changed the way I interacted with students and their writing.
